at the door to see if it comes back. Fear over comes him. He wants to run to his mother room but hesitate mustering up all the courage he could find. Looking around the room waiting for something else to happen. Ten minutes passes and nothing has happened. He turns the light off and lay back in bed pulling the cover over his head pretending to be a sleep.
“I know you are pretending to sleep!”
He recognizes it to be a soft sweet young female voice with a friendly tone.
“Do you want to see me?”
“Sure, if you are not scare of me. “
“What do you say?”
“I said I didn’t want to scare you.”
“I thought you said that! I wasn’t sure if I were hearing you right.”
“I thought you might not understand.”
“Ok ready or not! Here I come.”
Amil sat up in his bed as a bright light fill the room and in the midst of the light a figure of a young girl appeared. Standing beside the bed Amil smile at the pleasant beauty before him.
“You know, you are going to have a hard time scarring people.”
“Oh, I can be really scary if I wanted to be.”
“So are you ready?”
“Ready for what?”
“Look at you, thinking I’m the grim reaper.”
Just making sure.
Are you ready to play a game?
They played for until daylight rose into the window.
“You know you never told me your name.” Said Amyl
“My name is Aida!”
Aida! That’s a cool name.
‘I like it too.” Aida returned
“Amil. I need your help.”
“Yes! There a young girl the same age as you. Her name is Linda. She is going to the same school as you. Same class as you. She has been through some tough times and is going to need a good friend. I am hoping you can be that friend for her.”
“I can do that.” Amil returned.
